In light of this, Plantation have been eager to find a viable shutter product that will retain the excellent features and look that their shutter ranges are renowned for, without putting too much of a dent in people’s wallets. The result, Plantation Shutters are delighted to announce, is their brand new product Shaker Basswood, which will allow the opportunity to still achieve interior design ambitions without sacrificing quality or aesthetic appeal.

Manufactured from top grade, kiln dried and laminated Basswood, Shaker Basswood bridges the price gap between MDF and the more expensive hardwood shutters on the market, providing a sought after, low cost, hardwood solution. Available in three colours, Shaker Basswood has an even grain and a consistent structure, resistant to warping.

As part of our current Credit Crunch Sale, Plantation Shutters are offering Shaker Basswood at £180 per sq m (inclusive of VAT) with a choice of finish from one of their most popular colours, Silk White, Pearl and Bisque and fitted with either 47mm, 64mm or 89mm louvres.
