Remote Control

For inaccessible windows or those just out of reach, we have the perfect solution - remote controlled louvred shutters. Operated by a small remote control device, you can tilt the louvres to allow as little or as much light in as you need, all at the touch of a button.

This motorised mechanism is fully integrated into the shutter panels themselves, allowing you to control individual louvred panels or align multiple panels simultaneously. With smooth and quiet operation, it will deliver advanced light control via numerous preset louvre angles. This option is available throughout our range of hardwood shutters. We also offer an optional Solar charging system, providing an environmentally friendly method for keeping your batteries charged.

N.B. The remote control only operates to open the louvres, not the panels themselves.

Cut Outs for Door Handles

We provide cut outs for door handles to allow you easy access to the handles, without having to open the shutter panels.

Additional Fasteners

We can provide additional fastenings for the shutters, whereby a bolt can be inserted into the panels and secured onto the frame using a key. This will make the shutters more secure, however please note that they should not be used in place of traditional security measures such as security grills.

In addition to a key fastening, your shutters can alternatively be secured by using a sliding bolt (only available in Premium Hardwood) as illustrated.

Ring Pull

Although our shutters are designed to be robust enough to be gently pulled open, if you require an alternative method to this, we can provide shutters with a ring pull for extra ease of opening.

Integrated Pleated Black Out Blinds

We can now supply shutters with built in pleated blinds to create near black out conditions. Ideal for use in bedrooms in order to minimise light pollution, a double layered honeycomb blind is built in to the fixing frame of the shutter.
