Hinges and fixings are available in brass, antique brass, stainless steel and white and 4 other colours.

We supply ball magnets on our shutter frames to ensure that the shutter panels remain securely closed. Extra magnet catches are also attached on the side stiles of bi-fold configurations so that the panels remain together when folded back.
All our shutters are manufactured using mortise and tenon joinery, which resists the shear and racking forces endured by shutters to ensure prolonged quality and durability.
Our tilt rods are securely fastened using machined staples to provide a robust device with which to open and close the louvres. We can also offer you a choice in the postioning of your tilt rod. Tilt rods can be centred or offset to the left/right (usually used for Shaped panels.) For the ultimate in contemporary styling, we also offer a hidden tilt rod option.
We use reinforced engineered stiles, where the core is reinforced with multiple layers of wood bonded together. The result is a robust support system for shutter panels.
The following stile sizes are available.
Please note that where motorisation is used the 50.8mm x 28.6mm stile must be used.
| Stile Type | Standard (41.3mm x 28.6mm) |

The majority of the time when installing shutters, we use rebated stiles, as this provides the snuggest fit between the panels and reduces the amount of light that can come through the joins.
We have available an extensive range of frames for both inside and outside mounted shutters, in addition to those shown in the Mounting Options section. For more information, please call us and we will be happy to provide you with pictures and to advise you as to the most suitable frame for you.
