Covering the full height of the window, this is our most popular and flexible installation styles. Commonly specified with a mid-rail to provide the highest levels of privacy and light control, the shutters panels are split into sections, with separate tilt rods. As a result of the incremental different width of louvre it is not always technically possible to fulfil every customers exact mid-rail request. The centre rail can deviate by + or - by the amount of millimeters shown below:

Shutters for Velux Windows
Plantation Shutters are an ideal solution for covering Velux windows.
Our shutters are fixed within the frames of the Velux, to allow the window to be opened and tilted as normal. As with all our shutters, the louvres are able to be moved up and down to allow as little or as much light in as you require, plus the panels themselves can also be opened.
Being a bespoke product, our shutters are made to fit the exact dimensions of your Velux window. If the windows are fitted in a very high ceiling, you may wish to use remote controlled louvres, allowing them to be opened and closed at the touch of a button.
