Sales and Marketing Manager

This role requires a determined target driven approach, and a high degree of self motivation and ambition.

To lead and inspire the sales and marketing teams in achieving sales targets and to be pivotal in developing new business opportunities.

Roles and Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

  • To effectively plan and implement procedures to allow the sales team to reach monthly targets.
  • To devise strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the sales targets.
  • To map potential customers and generate new leads for the business.
  • To work closely with marketing and sales departments to create brand awareness and promotion.
  • To motivate and encourage the sales team in the common objective of business growth and expansion.
  • To ensure that the team is delivering desired results and to closely review and monitor all accounts, opportunities and leads.
  • To track performance, ensuring the team is living up to expectations.
  • To take a first had approach to redeeming possible lost accounts/orders.
  • To maintain, improve and develop customer relations.
  • To drive sales and to build a strong relationship with clients by understanding their needs whilst keeping in mind the needs of the business.
  • To identify and maximise sales opportunities, at all times.
  • To have the ability to negotiate, influence and persuade others to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Develop new business by researching the market and engaging with potential new customers. Conduct telephone calls and face to face visits where appropriate to prospect for new business.
  • Working closely with the marketing department to drive new business.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Must have previous experience in a similar position.
  • Must have great verbal and written skills.
  • Must be competent in aspects of Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel.
  • Driving license preferred.

Salary circa 35K OTE.

Working hours are Mon to Frid - 8:30am to 5.30pm.

20 days holiday + bank holidays

Consumer Marketing Executive

This a new role and requires a determined target driven approach who will plan and develop the long term marketing strategy to meet our objectives and targets in conjunction with the Sales Manager and the Office Manager. It will involve defining the consumer marketing plan, establishing the optimal marketing mix, website usability and optimisation and report marketing results to the senior management team.

General Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for the development of the PS marketing strategy and implementation planning to increase customer acquisition and retention and drive value through all core channels (email, online and printed resources)
  • Maximise market share and growth of the PS brand, making it the number one choice in its sector(s) for both trade customers and consumers.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Identify key information requirements. Gather & distribute sales and marketing information in house and maintain a systematic reporting data base.
  • Competitor analysis and benchmarking.
  • Help develop sales and marketing materials, samples, POS and other printed material.
  • Focus on the continual improvement of the process of lead generation to sales conversion.
  • Generation of advertorial and editorial coverage in appropriate trade and consumer media.
  • Develop and maintain an appropriate network of influential press and media contacts to optimise PS publicity.
  • Monitor local exhibitions, advising on appropriate participation schedules. Exploring the potential for PS to co-brand and participate at regional exhibitions in conjunction with key dealers. Manage PS exhibition.
  • Help with the current development of PS’s online presence, making the website a key element of the sales & marketing mix to consumers, trade accounts and potential trade contract channels.
  • Report on campaigns and constantly review metrics to determine what is working and what can be improved or optimized.
  • Analyse return on investment of marketing spend.
  • Participate in PS monthly sales meetings.
  • Travel as required, to agencies, press, dealers and exhibitions.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Must have previous experience in a similar position.
  • Previous above the line (ATL) marketing experience is essential.
  • Budget planning and management skills.
  • Must have great verbal and written skills.
  • Must be competent in aspects of Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel.
  • Driving license preferred.

Salary circa 35K OTE.

Working hours are Mon to Frid - 8:30am to 5.30pm.

Shutter Surveyor

We currently have a vacancy for a keen enthusiastic practical person to join our busy team of window shutter surveyors/fitters.

The right candidate would ideally have a background in carpentry or joinery, good practical skills; perhaps gained through a trade or quality DIY projects, combined with excellent organisational skills, have the ability to work hard and as part of a team.

You would be friendly and respectful of others, have a smart approach and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

This is a great opportunity for the correct candidate to develop within our continually expanding proactive thinking company.

Must be well presented and hold a Full UK Clean driving licence

Salary is negotiable.

Working hours 8:30am to 5.30pm.

We currently have a vacancy for a keen enthusiastic practical person to join our busy team of window shutter fitters.

Applicants must have very good D.I.Y skills and the ability to work hard and as part of a team. Full training given with potentially the opportunity to develop within our continually expanding company.

Must be well presented and hold a Full UK Clean driving licence.

Salary circa 18K + depending on experience.

Working hours 8:30am to 5.30pm.
