Every year they release a new Pantone Colour of the Year. The whole prosses to choosing the years colour is a well thought out process with great consideration and trend analysis. To come to the agreement on what will become The Colour on the Year, the colour experts comb through the world of design, entertainment, new artists, fashion designers, popular travel destinations, films, lifestyles, social media platforms, socio-economic conditions and even up-coming sporting events to look for new colour influences that capture worldwide attention.
This year’s colour is Living Coral Pantone 16-1546. Living Coral although may seem more pink in nature, Pantone describes Living Coral as “an animated, life-affirming shade of orange, with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge.”Coral evokes bright and positive energy.
