Which slat sizes do you offer?
47mm – the smaller of the slats, means it allows less light through when open, creating a softer, more diffused glow. This design offers a timeless, cottage like charm, perfect for period properties or spaces you would like to feel more intimate.
64mm – This is a classic range, a timeless choice, providing a balanced look with slightly less light than larger slats when open. Ideal for creating a softer ambiance, these louvres work well with smaller panels and are available in all materials except our security range.
76mm – The vogue range bridges the gap between classic and modern louvres. With fewer slats per panel, it maximises light while providing a trendy, minimalist finish that complements contemporary interiors. Vogue louvres offer versatility and style for any room in your home.
89mm – If you’re seeking a stylish, contemporary look, the 89mm slat size is perfect for you. Its louvres provide a minimalist, fresh finish with clean lines that suit modern interiors.
114mm – The widest slat size available, meaning they allow the most natural light to flood in, giving your home a fresh airy feel, the slats are best for large whole wall windows, they give a sleek statement.

What Tilt rod options do you offer?
Central – A central tilt rod placement is the most recognisable in traditional shutter design and creates a great symmetry across panels. Central tilt rods are effective on any shutter, however, to achieve a modern finish, central tilt rods are often combined with mid-sized panels and café style shutters to avoid busier designs.
Offset – Offset tilt rods are located on the front of slats on one side of the shutter panel. They are usually placed in alignment with whichever side the panel is hinged to. For example, if a shutter has two panels, one hinged to the left of the frame and the other hinged to the right, the offset tilt rods will be placed on the same side of the corresponding panel.
Without – Hidden tilt rods operate discreetly, controlling the shutter slats from inside the frame. Instead of a visible rod on the front, this hidden mechanism lets you adjust one slat, automatically moving the rest in sync without any hardware on display. This design creates an unobstructed view, enhancing kitchens, bedrooms, and living spaces with a clean, seamless look.

What can extra customisations can we offer?
Colour range – dependent on which material you choose we have over 50 standard colours for you to choose from meaning that you are likely to find the perfect colour choice for your home.
Hinge colours – hardware is the sort of thing that usually matches throughout your home. This is why we offer a range of 15 different hinge colours, stainless steel and brushed nickel having a small surcharge.
Custom colour match – we can offer a great service of custom colour matching in a selection of materials where you give us the colour you would like your shutters to be. If you would like them to match the rest of your interiors, we can help you! If the colour you want isn’t a regular RAL colour you can provide a colour swatch for us and the factory will create your colour on the shutters by using an electronic eye!
Ring pulls and knobs – an excellent solution for bi-fold panels and solid shutters where panels may not be as easy to open as single hung or louvered options. These smart pieces of hardware are placed on the side of a panel, in either a white or metallic option to match the overall design aesthetic and make operation of the shutter simple, and seamless.
What are room darkening blinds?
Sitting between the window and the shutters, incorporated in the same frame, it’s a stylish double layered honeycomb blind that can answer your prayers and help to reduce the light in the rooms in your home.
This gives a sleek finish without any clumsy and bulky divided sections and delivers a highly practical edge!

How do I know which panels and configurations I would like?
Single opening (L/R) is the classic way of having your shutters fitted, each door opening singularly to either the left or the right.
Bi-folding (LL/RR) means multiple panels can be bi-folded back to either or both sides, these can also be put on a track.
Bi-passing panels can be slid one behind another to either or both sides. Tracks aren’t just brilliant for large spaces where big or numerous panels need support, using track systems also makes it possible to make shutters into doors or room partitions. This is a great option for wardrobe doors or large open plan spaces which you may occasionally wish to separate without creating a permanent structure in place.
Which styles do you offer?
Full Height with a Divider Rail: Cover the entire height with a divider rail for independent slat control above and below.
Full Height without a Divider Rail: Continuous slats offer a seamless look, moving together as one sleek panel.
Full Height with a Hidden Break: Enjoy the functionality of independent slat sections, without a visible divider rail.
Café Style: Covering just the bottom half of your window. Allowing natural light to always flow in above and privacy down below.
Tier on Tier: separate top and bottom panels that can be opened independently.
Solid Panels: The most traditional style of shutters for your windows or door. You can still opt to cover the full height or part of the window or even choose to have half of the panel louvred and the other half solid. It really is down to your design preference.
Shaped Shutters: Whether it’s an arched or angled window, shutters solutions can be the best way to bring out the best of tricky areas to dress.
