I usually visit these blogs for inspiration and believe they are worth checking out whether you are in this sector or not because they always offer great tips and beautiful design ideas in general. Here is my "randomly organised" top 10 selection:

Started in 2009, this is a blog by interior designer and writer Carole King. This exciting blog gives you a preview into her world of interior design. As an industry expert she is immersed in all the latest trends and this site is packed with inspiration. Her articles are focused on products and designers and also include a huge 'blogroll' of all the design blogs that inspire Carole.This site has real homes with real interiors.
A blog by interior designer Andrew Dunning who was featured on the final 2013 #DECOREX100 list of top interior design Twitter influencers. This is a go-to site for design junkies, especially those with a penchant for Scandinavian design. With features such as ‘Room of the Week’ and ‘Quick Fire Q&A’ with celebrities on their interior design loves and hates, the content is diverse and interesting.
Abigail Ahern is an influential interior designer and writer whose work and style are followed by many throughout the globe. She runs a lifestyle blog where she talks about and displays a bit of her design obsession through a variety of subjects including the sections "BTS (behind the scenes)" and "House Crush" amongst few others. The blog also offers some business insights under the "Biz Column" which are definitely worth a read.
A blog by journalist Kate Watson-Smyth featured on the 2014 Sunday Times best design blog's list and the H&A list of 50 best interiors and vintage blogs. It comprises of fantastic images and articles which are categorised by colour and type i.e. floorboards, hallways and shelves all in the usual easy-to-read blog format which all ties in together. Also featuring a design classic every day of the year and unusually a feature entitled HOUSEHUNTER, for those of us that like to look at different, interior designed houses on the market today.
A blog by award winning and best-selling author Holly Becker - this is a popular and accessible user-friendly blog. Comprising of interior design, recipe and travel articles and loaded with beautiful images which would motivate even the most reluctant decorators. These images are often then transferred into her renowned design books that are published in 12 languages.
Apartment therapy is a impressive blog with everything you need to know about how to make your house more beautiful and stylish. It was launched in 2004 by brothers Maxwell Ryan and Oliver Ryan with the intention of providing people with the information they need to improve their homes. Founders Adi and Alon said they created Houzz while on a quest to redesign their home. They found it quite hard to find all the professionals they needed as there wasn't a website with everybody in one place. They describe Houzz as a place for homeowners to find the right companies and professionals for their projects. It has now over 40 millions users worldwide including homeowners and relevant industry professionals.
Sophie has more than 20 years experience in the interior design industry working across many places and media platforms including magazines and TV shows. Due to this she was invited to judge the best British emerging design talent on BBC2’s The Great Interior Design Challenge. Her blog is the place where she shares all her knowledge and everything she gets inspired by - colours, shapes and places.
