Our news story this week takes us to a very special fitting in this gorgeous home just off Finsbury Park and Upper Holloway where we kitted out a series of windows in our high-brow statement colour, Clay which makes these shutters really stand out beautifully.
Our client’s home sits on a very busy, narrow road and that comes to a need for privacy with their windows being quite large and a little intrusive on one another in such a close-knit street. With that, our made to measure interior window shutters were the perfect option for their living room bay window as well as their windows in two of the bedrooms.
Our client held different requirements between the living room and the bedrooms in that they were after absolute privacy for the bedrooms with the flexibility that comes with a product like interior shutters. Then for the living room, they wanted to be able to have both privacy and the natural light available to them at the same time. With our range of styles that you can have your shutters created in, this was no problem at all and our expert surveyor explained this when he visited the property.
The Tier on Tier style that you see in the picture above allows for the client to close the panels in a formation that deters nosey onlookers from peeking through. If the client hopes for some lovely natural light, then they can leave the top section open and have it flood in. This flexibility is just one of the things that our clients love about our shutters. Full Height for when all the panels are closed and Café for when the top section is opened. Full Height for the bedrooms was perfect for the client as privacy is especially important for these intimate spaces.
The clients next choice of having our very stylish Modern slat size was excellent as it added a minimalist look to the panels and meant that, when opened, there’s ample access to natural light which was something very important to the client for the two bedrooms and living room. In the Clay colour as well, it looks extra stunning against the industrial monochrome décor of the space in this Living room. Highlighted further by the stainless steel fittings that do well to add an extra edge to the design which we think looks stunning, especially next to the old school film production light in the corner.
With their wish for a darker colour to suit the room, the client also wanted the material of the shutters to be a premium wood, so we suggested the very light, high-quality hardwood option, Pearlwood. As one of the lightest materials we offer in our range it’s one of the most popular.
With all the choices locked in these shutters were ordered and within no time at all they arrived at our home in Battersea and our expert, in-house team jetted over to the client’s property and installed them promptly and professionally.
