One of Europe’s finest design events is once again retuning to London Olympia and we can’t wait to enjoy all of the fantastic talks and exhibits on offer! From Sunday 10th October until Wednesday 13th October, registered visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of talks from an elite selection of design industry experts, as well as browse around the abundance of stalls run by a selection of top quality of exhibitors.

Since its launch in 1978, Decorex has focused around 3 key principles: Quality, Inspiration and Connection. Decorex brings together like-minded, high-end interior design professionals to meet, do business and learn at a top class event where every year these professionals can come together. Like many leaders in the industry, Decorex is committed to adapting this immersive event dedicated to connection and influence allowing the design community to thrive in each other’s light.

To do this, Decorex is further broadening its reach by running both a live and virtual showcase for the first time ever. You can’t stop Decorex in its tracks and in a challenging 2020, the event took place virtually to ensure that this showcase of inspiration and design education could still take place. Though the in-person event was sorely missed, virtualisation allowed Decorex to have a boarder reach beyond London or designers making the trip from across Europe:

“We wish to host a truly immersive event that celebrates design in all its forms. Meanwhile, our ambition is to remain an avenue for connection – both physically and digitally. With the release of our year-round digital services, we hope to provide unparalleled opportunities for the design community to connect, learn and flourish.”

Virtual Decorex will take place on 16-18 Nov.

Back to London Olympia, there’s some fascinating panels of professionals coming together over the 4 days to highlight some key topical issues in the design industry. Some of this years’ highlights include ‘Slow Interiors: Understanding the importance of heritage’, ‘Addressing waste in design via sustainability’, ‘Storytelling in design’, and ‘The evolution of craftsmanship, what does the future hold?’

The long list of exhibitors keen to discuss their expertise have travelled to the event from far and wide in the UK as well as from France, Italy, Portugal, and other European countries. Be sure to head down and chat to them about what they have to offer as you will have a wonderful opportunity to learn from some of the greats. You’ll find some of our team down at London Olympia exploring the various bits on offer so be sure to say hello if you see us down there!
