Across the road from the beautiful Golders Hill Park situated in the idyllic suburb of Hampstead Garden, Barnet, is Richard's family home. This home is filled with history and style.
Richard and his family love to have people over all seated around their large dining table but having a large bay window made the kitchen and dining room feel exposed to the outside world. That’s where we came in with our Plantation Shutters acting as the perfect solution to compliment the space. As well as a practical option to ward off nosey onlookers, our shutters use up minimal space, allowing for maximal entertaining space.
Having bay windows, it can be very difficult to dress them, especially in the kitchen, without it looking worse for it. As all our shutters are made to measure, there was no need for Richard to sacrifice style for the convenience of privacy. This is all due to their frame hugging to the window and leaving plenty of space to decorate with furniture.
Going for Full Height made this all the easier as it covers the entire window frame and lets Richard and his family’s guests enjoy an uninterrupted dining experience cloaked in style. Also having the mid rail meant that they can control the privacy while still letting light in. They decided to go with the crisp and cool Pure White colour for the panels as well as White for their hinges which really lets them melt into the space. They chose the In Vogue slat size so they could let more light in or block out any unwanted light when necessary.
