I want shutters over my doors but don’t want to block out the door handle – how do I do this?
To fit shutters over a door where you do not want to obstruct the door handle or replace it with a smaller handle. We can make the shutters with what we call a ‘cut out’ where the shutter is made in a shape to accommodate this handle. Our experts will be able to run through this option with you and discuss the logistics of fitting some stunning new shutters to it.
What is the best material to use for shutters on doors?
As with our shaped shutters, the best materials for shutters for or over doors would be our Pearlwood shutters due to their light nature and their allowance for shape availability. Many of our customers love pearlwood doorway shutters as the large framing particularly suits the panel sizes required for this space. Solid panels also work great for doors.
