Warm tones are dotted throughout this spectacular home overlooking Wandsworth Common in Balham. With Full Height Pearlwood Shutters for added style, comfort and of course privacy.
This home is a selection of contemporary style and deep-rooted character. As you enter this wonderful home in Balham you are immediately greeted with warmth and elegance. Victoria’s home reflects her personality and style flawlessly. Matching the other houses exteriors with exposed yellow brick, Victoria and her family wanted to make the inside their own by renovating and installing our shutters.
As we explored this home, we started in the front room with the sound of the fire crackling and the warm colour tones coming from this room we were certainly greated with a warm welcome. Victoria chose to colour match her shutters so the matched the paint colours chosen for her home from Farrow and Ball. The bay windows in this room was dressed with Full Height Contemporary Shutters painted Ammonite with an 89mm slat size to let in as much light as possible while also being able to control the privacy as this window looks out to the footpath in front of the home. The same shutters were also selected for the downstairs T.V room bay window to match so there is symmetry when looking at the home from the outside.
Venturing further into the house we found the master ensuite, front dressing room and guestroom that had the same Pearlwood shutters as the downstairs bay windows but were painted Strong White. Whereas the family bathroom shutters were painted a Grey Moss and the Child’s room was painted Railings which is a soft black with blue undertones. These shutters were a 76mm slat size as they didn’t need as much light as the other rooms but still get plenty of light coming through and added privacy.
