Shutters in Westminster
Plantation shutters are a practical and stylish window covering for properties across Westminster. Whether you live in a period townhouse, a converted flat or a modern apartment, bespoke shutters can be made to suit the proportions and character of your windows.
We supply and professionally install made-to-measure plantation shutters throughout Westminster. Our team has been designing and installing shutters across London since 1982, with a showroom and office based nearby in Battersea.
A Practical Choice for Central London Homes
Privacy is often an important consideration for properties in central London, particularly where windows overlook busy streets, pavements or neighbouring buildings.
Plantation shutters give you more control than many traditional window coverings. The adjustable louvres can be tilted to reduce views into your home while still allowing natural daylight through.
They can also be adjusted throughout the day as the position of the sun changes, making them useful in living rooms, bedrooms and home offices.
Window Shutters Designed Around Your Property
Westminster properties can have very different window styles, from traditional sash windows in older buildings to tall windows and large glazed openings in modern apartments.
Rather than using standard-sized shutters, we measure each window individually. This allows the shutters to be designed around the existing window and gives you a neat, fitted appearance
Plantation shutters can be made for:
- Sash windows
- Tall and narrow windows
- Bay windows
- Large windows and doors
- French and patio doors
- Shaped and unusual windows
Our surveyors can advise on the best configuration for your particular windows, including the most suitable material, louvre size and opening style.
